This is some wonderful feedback from a very happy customer after trying for some time to get her Smiths Deluxe serviced and back in working order.
To The Team at Smiths Watches and in particular James who I have spoken to several times about my watch and the issues I have had with it. My watch is a 1962 Smiths Deluxe and I have worn it for over 5 years.It always kept good time, I simply wound it up and off it went. Then it just got harder to wind and eventually stopped completely. I have tried previously to get it repaired locally but it was unsuccessful. I was told by one local jeweller that their watch specialist said it could not be repaired and advised to scrap it. I tried another and after waiting a full year (covid stepped in) on return of my watch I wound it up and it went for 2 days then stopped again. Very Disappointed, this time I looked online and after a google search Smiths Watches popped up. I looked at your website and sent it for you to look at.After speaking with James he was soon back in touch explaining what needed to be done. After only 2 weeks my watch has been returned to me fully serviced, repaired and in excellent working order, in fact it looks good as new I’d say. It looks superb and sounds wonderful. It is a 59 year old watch that really has been given a new lease of life! Many Thanks to you all from a very satisfied customer. I would not hesitate to highly recommend you to any future customers out there. Well deserved 5* from me.
