A Smiths Deluxe British Rail presentation solid 9ct gold gents wristwatch. Has been fitted with a new crystal and has a solid gold 9ct bracelet. The movement is Astral specification as expected with the British Rail contracted watches.
2 piece case back with 45 year British Rail presentation. Same name is on the box outer and the illustrated warranty booklet. Dial is the linen or bark finish type and is in superb condition, as indeed is the whole watch. Gilt hands are original. Movement number is batch 35 and the SCW case number is iLondon hallmarked 1964/5. Case diameter is 31mm approx. The actual caliber is 60461E. Base caliber 400, which was 12-15. Fully serviced with our usual 2 year warranty and comes with a presentation pack. Bracelet suited to small wrist. The diameter minus the crown is 30.5mm. the strap fitted is 16mm. The thickness is 9.9mm.
