JAMES WALKER LTD RETAILED ENGLISH SMITHS WRISTWATCH BOXED C 1951.
In very used condition to be honest although it s one of the harder retail jewellers to obtain with a Smiths earlier wristwatch. Chromed centre case and bezel and a steel clip on case back. Still a firm fit. The 12.15 movement has been serviced and goes well. The watch retains good original features such as the raised dimple crown. Blued steel baton fils hands. the replacement u/b crystal is a bevelled edge nicely domed one.
Small case as with most of these pre 53 watches, approx 31mm without the winding crown. I've fitted a short 16mm strap but a normal length zrc can be fitted for a gentleman wearer. The thickness is 9.5mm.
Comes with a James Walker "Watchmakers to the Admiralty" box.
