Normally this dial pattern in a gold case is reserved for A504 which is part of the Everest range of watches. This example is slightly later from 1961 is signed Everest on the dial and has an Astral escapement. That is it has a smooth rimmed balance with shock proofing anti-magnetic hairspring and unpolished pallet lever and escapement which is all working very well and recently been serviced.
The three piece case by BWC has a diameter of approximately 32mm and has Edinburgh 9 carat gold hallmarks for 1961. The case number 49832. Movement batch number 614. Nicely engraved on the back. Fitted with a parallel 16mm calf strap in black.
