J W Benson London tropical wristwatch by Smiths in a Dennison Aquatite case of approx 33.3 mm in diameter with a chromed case top and steel screw in back. Fitted with a cowhide leather strap.
In excellent working order fully overhauled and a good timekeeper. This example has a 15 jewel movement with the cruciform case ring and the high quality balance. These c series J W Benson watches were made both before and after 1953.
The chroming on the case is worn and there is a mark on the back of the case
Most of these are tropical or London, this is the three line signature version.
